So when Ghioldi, a historic textile company and a benchmark for the biggest names in haute couture, asked us to create a piece that would speak directly to young talents stepping into this field, we felt genuinely fortunate.

It’s not every day you get to enter places like this, where every room seems to breathe stories and possibilities all at once. To truly understand who they are, we spent weeks inside their world: learning about each step of the process, getting lost among the looms, and being enchanted by an archive that’s nothing short of a hidden treasure. Every time we left, we carried with us a sense of wonder, as if we’d just discovered something important—not only about fabric, but about how beautiful things come to life.

The Como textile district remains one of the beating hearts of this entire industry: it’s here that the fabrics dressing runways around the world are born, even if people often forget just how much dedication and passion lie behind them. We tried to tell this story through our eyes—as young people deeply grateful to be doing this work, pouring all our energy, curiosity, and desire to grow into it.
